We are Lee and Betsy Bowman, Associate Brokers at Smith Mountain Lake, Realtors at Smith Mountain Lake in Southwest Virginia.  We have both been in real estate since the late 80s…starting our careers in Northern Virginia…moving onward and upward to owning and managing our own company that we sold in 2000 and moved to the lake permanently.  We actually like NOT managing and owning and JUST helping people buy and sell real estate.  (It’s interesting how much you learn managing others, though…we are much better agents than we were before than experience). 

We love it here…we live in a little cottage by the lake that we have been restoring & improving…a little bit at a time…we take time every day to be grateful for each other and our life here.
