Ah, Labor Day weekend here at Smith Mountain Lake…it’s Friday but already we have seen an upsurge in the boat traffic including a couple of passes by the police boats and one by the Ice Cream boat. The Lake is up a little thanks to the rains from the remains of Fay this week (3.75″ in my gauge by the lake). The weekend weather is for temps in the low 80s and slight chances of afternoon thundershowers. Come enjoy!
(By the way, for those of you following the real estate market…the house for $389,900 that I blogged about is now under contract…17 days after it was put on the market…price does matter!)
